The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces will experience partly to generally cloudy skies on Monday, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to mainly fair weather.

Light rain is expected at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, with similar light rain expected in some areas. Other regions will have fair to partly cloudy conditions.

The division attributed the weather patterns to the influence of a westerly wind.

On Sunday, Janakpur recorded the highest temperature at 29.5°C, while Jumla had the lowest at -3.8°C, with no rainfall reported anywhere in the country.
