The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast partly cloudy conditions in the hilly regions, with the rest of the country expected to remain partly cloudy to mainly fair on Monday.

Light rain is anticipated at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Sudurpaschim Province. There is also a likelihood of light snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous areas of these provinces.

Tonight, similar conditions are expected, with partly cloudy skies in the hilly regions and partly cloudy to mainly fair conditions elsewhere. Light rain is likely in the hilly regions of Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Karnali Province, while light snowfall is possible in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki and Karnali Provinces.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, these conditions are due to the partial influence of westerly and local winds across the country.

On Sunday, Janakpur recorded the highest temperature at 35.3°C, Jomsom saw the lowest at 2.5°C, and no rainfall was reported across the country.
