The Meteorological Forecasting Division said on Wednesday that Nepal’s hilly areas will experience partly cloudy skies, while the rest of the country is expected to have mostly fair weather.

Light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is likely in isolated areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. By tonight, conditions are expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions, while other areas will continue to see clear skies.

The division attributed these weather patterns to the influence of western and local winds across the country.

On Tuesday, Nepalgunj recorded the highest temperature at 33.7°C, Jomsom observed the lowest at 7.5°C, and Lumle received the highest rainfall at 62.9 mm.
