On Sunday, the country is likely to experience partly to generally cloudy weather in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, including the hilly regions of the other provinces.

In contrast, the remaining parts of the country are expected to see partly cloudy to mainly fair conditions.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in a few places across Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in the hilly areas of the rest of the country.

The weather pattern is expected to continue into tonight, with similar conditions forecast. Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, along with the hilly regions of other provinces, will remain partly to generally cloudy.

Partly cloudy to mainly fair weather is expected in the rest of the country. Light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely to persist in these areas.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the current weather conditions are primarily influenced by the westerly wind system, which has an effect across the country, along with some impact from local winds.

On Saturday, Janakpur recorded the highest maximum temperature at 35.5°C, while Jumla experienced the lowest minimum temperature at 4.5°C.
