The weather is forecast to be partly to generally cloudy in Koshi Province and the hilly regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces on Tuesday.

The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mainly fair skies, the Metrological Forecasting Division said.

Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is likely in one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki.

According to the meteorological analysis, western winds are affecting Lumbini, Sudurpaschim, and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country is experiencing a mix of western and local winds.

The western part will be partly cloudy in the mountain regions, with the central and eastern areas experiencing partly to generally cloudy skies. There are chances of rain or snow in one or two locations in the central region and a few places in the east.

On Monday, the highest temperature was recorded in Janakpur at 34.1°C, while the lowest was in Jomsom at 5.5°C. No significant rainfall was reported, with traces observed in Pokhara and Biratnagar.
