On Saturday the weather is forecast to be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini and Karnali Province and at a few places of Gandaki and Sudur Pashchim Province.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has warned of chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali Province.

Tonight the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the country's hilly regions. While the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mainly fair weather conditions.

On Friday Janakpur experienced the highest temperature of 38.6°C while Jomsom recorded the lowest of 11.5°C. Jiri recorded rainfall of 21.2 mm followed by Taplejung of 8.4 mm.
