The weather across the country will be partly to generally cloudy in the rest of the country.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to continue at many places of Koshi and Sudur Pashchim Province and at one or two places of the rest of the provinces.
There is a chance of heavy rainfall at some places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudur Pashchim Province and at one or two areas of Koshi and Bagmati Province.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has warned of chances of very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall at one or two places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudur Pashchim Province.
Tonight the weather is forecast to be generally to mostly cloudy in Sudur Pashchim Province and partly to generally cloudy in the rest of the country.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of Sudur Pashchim Province and at a few places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali Province.
With the monsoon currently located on the south of its average position, the met office has warned of chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of Karnali Province and Sudur Pashchim Province.
On Thursday, the highest temperature was recorded in Dharan at 35.5°C, while the lowest temperature was in Jomsom at 13.5°C. The highest rainfall was observed in Dhangadhi with 84.4 mm. Kathmandu experienced a temperature of 30.4 at the highest and 20.6 at the lowest with 0.8mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours.
