The country will experience partly to generally cloudy skies today, with light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning expected in several areas across all provinces on Tuesday.
According to the Metrological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in a few locations within Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, with isolated heavy downpours also likely in other provinces.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rain, with thunder and lightning, is expected in some areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, with a few showers likely in other regions. There is a chance of heavy rainfall in isolated locations within Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
The monsoon winds continue to affect the entire country, with the monsoon's low-pressure system positioned slightly north of its average location.
On Monday, The highest maximum temperature was recorded at Janakpur with 38.0°C, the lowest minimum at Jomsom with 14.0°C, and the highest rainfall at Okhaldhunga with 41.3 mm.
