The weather today is forecast to be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudur Pashchim Province and at a few places of Madhesh province. There is a chance of heavy rainfall in one or two places of all provinces.

Tonight the weather will remain Partly to generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Province as well as a few places of the rest of the provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in the Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Province.

The highest recorded temperature on Thursday was 35.2 Degrees Celsius in Dipayal while Jomsom recorded the lowest temperature of 14.5 Degrees Celsius.
