The Meteorological Forecasting Division predicts light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in several areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few places in the remaining regions.

There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in select areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with one or two locations in Madhesh, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces also at risk of significant precipitation.
