The weather across the country is forecast to be generally cloudy on Monday.

Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in several parts of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Sudur Pashchim Province, and Lumbini Province, as well as at one or two places in the rest of the provinces.

The meteorological forecasting division has warned of heavy rainfall in a few places in Lumbini and Sudur Pashchim provinces.

Tonight, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy throughout the country, with light to moderate rainfall.

Likewise, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places in Bagmati Province, Koshi Province, Lumbini Province, Sudur Pashchim Province, and Gandaki Province, as well as at one or two places in the rest of Madhesh and Karnali Provinces.

Heavy rainfall is expected at one or two places in Lumbini and Sudur Pashchim provinces.

The maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius in Bhairahawa and Dipayal, while Jomsom’s lowest recorded temperature was 16.0 degrees Celsius.
