The weather is forecast to be generally to mostly cloudy throughout the country on Sunday.

Light to moderate rain is expected, with thunder and lightning expected in many places across all provinces. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is possible in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudur Pashchim provinces.

The meteorological forecasting division has warned of extremely heavy rainfall in Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province.

Up until tonight, the weather will remain generally to mostly cloudy.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in some parts of Madhesh Province, Lumbini Province, Sudur Pashchim Province, and a few places in other provinces.

Along with some parts in Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, Sudur-Paschim province may experience heavy rain tonight, according to the Met Office.

The maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 29.9 degrees Celsius at Bhairahawa, while Jomsom’s lowest recorded temperature was 13.5 degrees Celsius.
