Sunday’s weather across the country will be generally to mostly cloudy.

Expect light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in many areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpashchim provinces.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has issued warnings for heavy rainfall in a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and at one or two places in Lumbini and Sudurpashchim provinces.

By the end of the day, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy.

Tonight, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected in many places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. There's also a possibility of heavy rainfall in a few areas of these provinces.

One or two areas in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces is expected to experience heavy rainfall, according to the meteorological office.

Janakpur recorded a maximum of 37.4 degrees Celsius on Saturday, while Jomsom saw a minimum of 15.5 degrees Celsius.
