Today, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country.

Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces along with other hilly regions will experience partly to generally cloudy weather while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.

Gandaki and Lumbini provinces will also experience gusty winds, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

There are also chances of light snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.

The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhesh and Gandaki provinces, while light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning has also been forecast in these areas tonight.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to mainly fair.

As of Monday evening, Nepalgunj experienced the warmest day in the country with temperatures rising to 40.2 degrees Celsius. Jumla’s minimum temperature was recorded at 10.8 degrees Celsius.
