The weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout Nepal with chances of light rainfall at a few places today.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and gusty wind in some places of Koshi and Lumbini provinces and one or two places in the rest of the country.

Light snowfall is likely to occur at a few places of the high hilly and mountainous region.

The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly area and mainly fair to partly cloudy in the Tarai region tonight.

Brief rain and thundershowers are also expected at a few places of Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Dhangadi experienced the hottest day in the country with temperatures rising to 38.3 degrees Celsius while Jiri recorded a minimum temperature of 11.4 degrees Celsius.
