The weather will be partly cloudy throughout the country today, with slight chances of light rainfall in a few places.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the hilly regions of Koshi Province will be partly to generally cloudy while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mainly fair weather.

Those in Koshi and Gandaki provinces should keep their umbrellas close as brief rain and thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places. The met office also forecasts chances of light snowfall at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

The weather will remain partly cloudy to mainly fair across the country tonight.

Janakpur recorded the highest temperature at 38.6 degrees Celsius while Jumla’s minimum temperature dropped to a low of 6.7 degrees Celsius.
