The weather across Nepal is likely to remain partly to generally cloudy today.

Keep your umbrellas by your side as light rain or thunder and lightning are expected to occur in a few places in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces while one or two places in Madhesh Province may also experience drizzle.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is also a possibility of light snowfall at a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions.

While the weather will remain generally cloudy in Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, it is expected to clear up in the rest of the country.

A few places in Karnali Province and hilly regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces will likely experience light rainfall or thunder and lightning tonight.

With monsoon around the corner, temperatures have begun to drop, with Nepalgunj recording the warmest day at 36.2 degrees Celsius while the temperature in Jumla dropped to a low of 7.3 degrees Celsius.
