Two arrested with homemade pistol from Lalitpur

Police have arrested two persons with a homemade pistol from Lalitpur metropolis-25 on Wednesday night.
According to police, the arrested are Prashant Tamang, 19, and 30-year-old Ramesh Tamang of Kavre and currently living in Jawalakhel.
A police team deployed from Metropolitan Police Sector Bungmati arrested them with a scooter after they tried to flee after seeing the police personnel.
According to police, the duo had hidden the pistol in the boot of the scooter. Police also seized 13 bundles of wire, ten water pumps and one jackhammer among others from them.
Police said further investigation into the case was underway.
