Police have arrested three persons in possession of illegal pharmaceutical drugs from the Capital on Thursday.
Acting on a special tipoff, a team from Metropolitan Police Division, Kapan arrested three persons including Dipendra Khatri, 30, of Kapan in Budhanilkantha Municipality-11. The trio were arrested red-handed while selling the contraband drugs at Lasuntar, Ram Mandir in the area.
According to the police, 72 ampoules of Diazepam, 68 ampoules of Phenergan, 68 ampoules of Nurofen and 1 gram of powder likely brown sugar were recovered from the arrestees.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, informed police.
