Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara on Wednesday visited senior human right defender Padma RatnaTuladhar to inquire about the health condition at Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital. He has been admitted to the hospital since Tuesday.
Doctors involved in his treatment briefed Mahara on the health condition of Tuladhar. He had reached the hospital at around 11am today.
Urging the doctors to leave no stone unturned in Tuladhar treatment, Mahara wished speedy recovery of the former minister, Mahara’s secretariat said.
Tuladhar was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Norvic Hospital after he was referred there from Annapurna Neuro Hospital on Tuesday. He was taken to Annapurna Neuro Hospital after he suffered a brain strokelast Friday.
According to a source, a team led by Dr RK Agrawal and DrRajibJhahas been attending Tuladhar.
Tuladhar is one of the facilitators of the peace talks between the government and then underground Maoist rebels in 2001 and 2003.
