Cash and gold ornaments worth around Rs 134,000 were stolen from a house at Boharatar in Balaju, KMC-16.

Police said the unidentified persons barged into the house of Madan Bahadur Thapa after breaking the padlock and decamped with the cash and valuables.

Police said that they are searching for the thieves.
