Myanmar’s President Win Myint has arrived in Kathmandu to take part in Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) summit on Tuesday.
Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ishwor Pokharel welcomed President Myint at the airport upon his arrival.

Head of state from Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Bhutan and Nepal will take part in the two-day summit.
Foreign Ministry said President Myint will meet President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Thursday and will leave for Lumbini on September 1.
