Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) arrested a Swiss citizen on paedophilia charge on Friday.
Peter Christian Langendorf, 66, had sexually exploited a 16-year-old boy at a hotel in Chuchhepati by luring him through Facebook Messenger. Police said Peter had exploited the boy in various other hotels in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
Following initial investigation police said Peter admitted to the crime. He had been running an education-related project at Langtang in Rasuwa and also has invested in Welcome Heritage Inn, Bhaktapur. Police said he used to give money to the boy to hide his crime.
Police has filed a case against him.
