Two persons of a same family died and three others were injured when a landslide buried a house at Chirka in Junidevi Rural Municipality on Friday.

Police said the landslide buried house of Bhakta Bahadur Buda killing his wife Lila Buda, 55, and grand daughter Srijana, 9. Bhakta Bahadur and his other grand daughter Khima, 7, and grandson Paras, 13, were injured.

Police personnel from Local Police Station, Garkhakot, and locals are carrying out the rescue operation.
