NSU students protest in Maitighar defying prohibitory order

Students of Nepali Congress (NC) aligned Nepal Student Union (NSU) on Wednesday staged demonstration at Maitighar Mandala against the government decision to ban any kind of protests and rallies in the area.
Scores of students affiliated to the student wing reached the prohibitory zone and demanded government should allow peaceful protests in Maitighar Mandala.
The students were also involved in a scuffle with police personnel deployed in the area. There is a thick presence of security personnel in the area following the incident.
