The Narayangadh-Mugling road section is going to be upgraded soon. The main entry and exit road section to and from central capital Kathmandu is to be upgraded, said Road Division Department Chief Sanjay Kumar Shrestha.

A 96-km section of the road along the Trishuli River will be upgraded and expanded.

Shrestha added that detailed project report has been forwarded to the Ministry and Ministry has also forwarded it to the World Bank, seeking financial support.

An estimated cost for the project is about 32 billion rupees. According to Shrestha, the construction works will be completed by 3.5 years of the commencement. RSS
