Former Minister for Home Affairs Dan Bahadur Shahi passed away on Sunday. He was 76.
He had been suffering from kidney-related diseases and died in course of treatment at Dhapasi-based Grande Hospital. The hospital source confirmed his demise.
He was admitted to the hospital some two months ago. Shahi, a permanent resident of Dumrakot of Tikhar of KI Singh Rural Municipality in Doti, was the former government administrator.
He is survived by his two spouses, three daughters and two sons.
His last rites will be conducted today itself.
