‘Bank Notes recoverd from Wagle and co were fake’
Nepal Rastra Bank has confirmed that the bank notes recovered from film producer Madav Wagle and six others on May 16 are fake.

Nepal Rastra Bank has confirmed that the bank notes recovered from film producer Madav Wagle and six others on May 16 are fake. Police had recovered fake bills with a face value of Rs 26 million from Madhav Wagle, Bikesh Napit, Sujit Tamang, Mahendra Bogati, Prakash Subedi and Sajan Tamang from different places. Wagle has claimed that the notes were printed for a film. Spokesperson at Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range SP Ram Dutta Joshi said the six men will face legal action as the NRB has verified the notes as fake.
