A youth was killed when his motorbike collided with a jeep at Tokha municipality-5, Kathmandu on Saturday night.
The ill-fated bike (Ba 40 Pa 5775) and a jeep (Ba 3 Cha 1674) collided at 11 pm killing motorbike rider Santosh Nepali, 26, a native of Syangja and currently living at Machhapokhari. Pillion rider Arjun Bohara was injured in the accident.
Nepali, who sustained fatal injuries, died in course of treatment at the TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, according to Metropolitan Police Range, Maharajgunj's Chief, Yogendra Singh Thapa. Bohara is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital. The police have detained the jeep driver.
