India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive for a two-day state visit to Nepal on May 11.
The date, proposed by the Indian side, was endorsed by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Monday morning. This will be Modi’s third official visit to Nepal in his tenure.
Sources said Modi will visit Nepal during the silence period of Karnataka election. Prior to Nepal visit, Modi is visiting China beginning this Friday.
Highly-placed sources at the Foreign Ministry said an advanced Indian team has already arrived here in Nepal to prepare for Modi's visit.
Indian PM Modi is scheduled to visit Janakpur and will address the people there. Modi will be felicitated in Janakpur.
