Three municipalities of Bhaktapur district halted their services on Sunday protesting against the attack on Mayor of Madhyapur Thimi municipality, Madan Sundar Shrestha.

Issuing a press release, Madhyapur Thimi, Suryabinayak and Changunarayan municipalities halted official activities of the municipalities and ward offices, demanding action against those involved in the attack.

Submitting a memorandum to Chief District Officer, Drona Pokharel, the municipalities demanded action against the guilty and arrangement of security at municipalities and for the mayors. RSS
