SSP Dhiraj Pratap Singh has been appointed as the new chief of Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD).
SSP Singh will succeed SSP Dibesh Lohani who was recalled to Police Headquarters and is under probe in gold smuggling case.
Singh has already worked as spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu and earned many plaudits for his work as district chief in Parsa and Dang.
