Fuel price hiked, petrol to cost Rs 106 per liter

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased price of petroleum products to be effective from Monday midnight.
The state-owned oil entity has increased petrol price by Rs 1 to Rs 106 per liter while price of diesel and kerosene have gone up by Rs 2 per liter. Diesel and kerosene will now cost Rs 87 per liter. The price of cooking gas and aviation fuel, however, remains unchanged.
NOC will now make a profit of Rs 2.97 from a liter of petrol while it still bears loss of Rs 0.76 from the sale of one liter of diesel.
NOC said the price were increased due to rising price of petroleum products in international market.
