Government is preparing to withdraw three names recommended by erstwhile Sher Bahadur Deuba-government as the members of National Assembly (NA).
Deuba government had recommended Krishna Poudel, Chadani Joshi and Gopal Basnet as NA members. President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has not endorsed the names.
UML Secretary Pradip Gyawali said new recommendations will be made before the president as NA members. “New government will make new recommendations,” said Gyawali.
Sources said the recommendations will be shared between the UML and CPN (Maoist Center). It is likely two will be recommended by UML while one by Maoist Center, sources said.
