Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called up CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli and congratulated him as the next prime minister of Nepal.
Oli’s press coordinator Chetan Adhikari confirmed about the telephonic conversation and informed that Modi congratulated Oli in advance.
“Modi said that he was waiting to welcome Oli to India after the UML chairman assumes the premier post of Nepal,” said Adhikari in a press note, “Chairman Oli too accepted Modi’s proposal and invited him to visit Nepal.”
Oli also invited Modi to visit Ram Janaki Temple and the holy site of Muktinath, said Adhikari.
