Man arrested with 2 pistols from Koteshwor

Metropolitan Police Circle arrested a man with two pistols and its five bullets from Koteshwor on Thursday.
The arrestee has been identified as Subash Karki. Police are interrogating him to get details of his background and the motive behind carrying the pistols.
This is the fourth incident where police arrested individuals with ammunition in the past two months.
A pistol was recovered from Mhepi on October 9, the same day when Construction entrepreneur Sharad Kumar Gauchan was murdered. Another was found in Boudha in the same week and few days later a third recovery was made in Kalimati.
Similarly, two Indians were arrested from a restaurant in Kamalpokhari when they fired in the air following a dispute over food bill.
