Altogether 2,900 families in Saptari, 1,200 in Mahottari, 2,500 in Rautahat and 2,400 families in Sunsari received the support, the organisation said in a statement on Monday.
The non-food aid package included a combination of items such as tarpaulin and ropes, blanket, floor/bed foam, tarp bag and solar light.
Households of excluded groups, female and adolescent-headed households, and households with elderly, person with disability and chronic illness, among other vulnerable families were prioritised while distributing the aid. The relief materials were distributed in partnership with International Organisation of Migration and the UN Central Emergency Relief Fund.
