The bomb disposal squad of the Nepalese Army has defused an improvised explosive device (IED) found at Manamaiju in Tarkeshwor Municipality-10, Kathmandu on Wednesday morning.

Locals had informed the security agencies after spotting a suspicious object wrapped in a blue polythene bag near Ganeshthan in the area.

The Nepal Army bomb disposal squad had reached the site soon after getting the information. The NA team disposed the pressure cooker bomb at around 11:30 am today.
