Police on Monday arrested a Chinese man in possession of undeclared gold from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) from the Capital.
Cuojiezhuoma bearing Chinese passport E 00100986 was arrested with 3,000 gram precious yellow metal. He had arrived in Kathmandu by a Chinese aircraft.
The confiscated gold has been kept at the TIA customs office and the arrested Chinese man has been taken to the Metropolitan Police Cricle, Koteshwor for investigation.
