CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has arrived at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali following the death of his son on Sunday morning.

Dahal was in Birtamode, Jhapa, campaigning for the upcoming elections when the news of his son's death broke out. He immediately flew into Kathmandu in a chopper. Dahal's spouse Bina Magar has also reached the hospital.

Dahal's son Prakash was brought at the emergency ward of the hospital at 5:50 am Sunday morning. He was pronounced dead nine minutes later.
