The Election Commission (EC) has said that results of parliamentary and provincial elections under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system will be out within a week after the voting in the second phase which will be held on December 7.
The first phase voting will be held on November 26. “The election results will be made public within a week. The necessary arrangement has been made to increase the number of enumerators if required to ensure early results,” said Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Ayodhee Prasad Yadav at a programme in the Capital on Friday.
