ITC chief calls on DPM Mahara

Executive Director of the Geneva-based International Trade Centre (ITC) Arancha González paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Thursday.
They discussed on various issues, including economic diplomacy and multi-faceted trade promotion, according to the ministry.
During the meeting, DPM Mahara urged the ITC to play more positive role in promoting export of Nepali goods.
In response, González said Nepal should focus on branding and trading Nepali goods as it has immense possibility of economic development and trade promotion. (PR)
