Addressing the meeting of the Maoist Centre parliamentary board held at Singhadurbar on Monday, Dahal said his party was for widening the acceptance of constitution and strengthening national unity by bringing the forces like Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal on board the election process.
"The process of the amendment bill presented by the previous government would now begin," Dahal said adding that there was no alternative to bringing RJP-N on board election process by presenting the amendment bill for endorsement at the parliament.
The former Prime Minister Dahal cautioned that element that plays on dissatisfaction could benefit if the parties fail to become responsible to resolve the concerns of agitating parties.
The meeting also discussed the possible candidate for the post of Chairman of the Parliamentary International Relations and Labour Committee. The committee has been lying vacant after its chairman Pravu Sah became Minister for Urban Development in the NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba led government.
