A woman died after a truck hit a scooter she was riding on at Balkhu in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Police identified the deceased as Bhagwati Thapa, 30, of Syangja, currently residing at Buddhanagar, Kathmandu.
Critically injured in the incident, Thapa was rushed to the Vayodha Hospital, Balkhu where she breathed her last during the course of treatment.
Police said that they have impounded the truck and arrested its driver for investigation.
