The agitating Madhes-based Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) is registering at the Election Commission on Wednesday.

General Secretary Keshav Jha confirmed the party will register itself at the EC today.

"A meeting of the leaders at party office in Bizulibazaar will decide on the number of central committee members of the party. We will go to the EC after that meeting concludes," he said.

The party, formed after the merger of six Madhes-based parties, had agreed in principle to include all the central committee members of those six parties in the new one. But since the number of new central committee members is likely to cross 1,000, Jha said, the final decision will be taken during the meeting today.

The agitating party had boycotted first and second phase of local level elections.
