The Metropolitan Police Circle, Nagdhunga has arrested an Indian national in possession of banned drugs on Monday.
Police arrested 19-year-old Ful Mohammad Ansari of Motihari, India along with the banned drugs at 6.15 am. He was travelling in a passenger bus, Na 6 Kha 1535, with the contrabrand, coming from Birgunj.
The police confiscated 250 ampules of Dizelab, 169 ampules Phenragan and 150 ampules Nurfin from Ansari's bag during the check.
Further investigation is underway in this connection, police said.
