Situation at Nagarik Hospital in Gatthaghar, Bhaktapur, has become tense on Wednesday following death of a patient.

Relatives of Uma Basnet, 38, of Bhimeshwor Municipality-5 in Dolakha district vandalised the hospital and clashed with police after Basnet died during course of treatment.

Basnet was admitted to the hospital for chest pain. Relatives said doctors gave her an injection which caused her death.
