52 cows killed, scores injured in Gokarneshwor fire

At least 52 cows died and 68 others sustained burn injuries after a fire tore through a cattle farm in Gokarneshwor Municipality-1 in Kathmandu on Saturday.
According to police, the fire broke out at the cow shed owned by one Baburam Karki at around 11 am.
The blaze was later taken under control with the help of Nepal Army and Nepal Police personnel.
According to Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha, details of the properties destroyed in the fire are yet to be ascertained.
Most of the injured cows are said to be in critical condition, it has been learnt
