The examination conducted by the National Examination Board (NEB) started at 8.00 am today, shared Examination Controller Dambar Batas.
Meanwhile, on the first day of the grade 11 final examinations, a fake examinee was found writing the English paper at an exam centre in Nasa School, Kathmandu.
NEB Kathmandu Chief Krishna Ghimire informed that one Pawan Rai was found writing the paper impersonating as Pawan Regmi (symbol number 17616704), a student of Koteshwor Bahumukhi Campus.
The imposter examinee has been handed over to the police for further action, said Ghimire.
The examination is being conducted in 993 examination centres across the country. It will end on June 24.
A total of 449,054 students including 348,060 under regular and 100,994 under partial category are appearing in the examination across the country.
