Police said that two incidents of property crime were reported in the Kathmandu Valley on Monday.
Property worth around Rs 2.3million was stolen from a rented room of Jagat Basnet at Gurusingal in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-1.
Similarly, cash and gold ornaments worth around Rs 160,000 were stolen from a house at Nayabasti in Gokarneshwor Municipality-5, Kathmandu.
According to a complaint lodged with police, various gold ornaments and Rs 60,000 in cash were stolen from the house of Nawaraj Karki, a permanent resident of Jugu-5, Dolakha.
Police said that they are looking into both cases.
